GA4 Setup & Training
GA4 is not an upgrade from Universal Analytics. It is a fundamentally different measurement model — and most implementations treat it like the old one.
What’s included
Block 02 — The Problem
Most GA4 properties were migrated from Universal Analytics. Migration is not implementation.
Universal Analytics goals do not map cleanly to GA4 conversion events. The default automatic events GA4 collects give you scroll depth and outbound clicks — not the specific interactions your business model depends on measuring.
Block 03 — Our Approach
Event schema. Conversion goals. Audiences. BigQuery. In that order.
GA4 audit: Full property review covering data streams, event collection, conversion configuration, filter setup, and linking status
Event schema design: A custom event taxonomy built around your specific business model — every parameter named, typed, and documented
Conversion configuration: All key conversion events defined, configured, and tested — with deduplication, value assignment, and attribution correct
Audience setup: GA4 audiences defined for remarketing, look-alike targeting, and behavioural segmentation — linked to Google Ads
BigQuery export configuration: Daily raw data export to BigQuery for long-term retention, custom analysis, and advanced attribution modelling

Block 05 — Cost of Delay
GA4 does not backfill. The data from before a correct implementation is permanently absent.
Every day a GA4 property runs with an incorrect event schema or missing conversion goals is a day of data that will never exist. There is no benefit to delaying a correct implementation further.
GA4 data cannot be backfilled. A conversation costs nothing.
One GA4 audit session maps every gap in your current setup and tells you exactly what it would take to have a property you can trust.
